Overview
Most of us seek health and a better quality of life yet it is difficult to know where to begin or even to find an acceptable definition of health beyond “health is the absence of disease.” We also hear common cliché that health is a balance of body, mind, spirit, yet what does that mean, and how do we attain this ideal in our busy, stressful, and polluted world?
Healing comes in many ways, but in my opinion that there are no miracle methods, or magic bullets that will take care of all of our problems. Some believe that if we mediate long enough, think positively enough, eat well enough, or exercise enough health will be created.
Human beings are multi-dimensional. We are a soul with a body, mind and emotions. True health is an internal harmony that results when we not only understand our spiritual connection, but that our unconscious, mental, emotional, and physical bodies are unobstructed enough that we may fully be ourselves.
Any work we do has positive results because our mind, body and emotions fit together like a glove. One area helps all the others, yet common sense tells us we will get best results if we do some work on each of the levels.
